Our vacation time was coming to an end. Our final night was to be spent in Maryland, near Fort McHenry, so we had a travel day. But, since our complimentary entertainment booklet from Kennett House contained tickets to the Brandywine River Museum (the home of works by the Wyeth family), we went ahead and stopped there.
We were told that you can see it in an hour and a half, and that was about right for us. It was interesting to learn some of the history of the Wyeths and to see their original works. Unfortunately, no photography is allowed in the galleries, so the only thing we have pictures of is this flower arrangement from the lobby.
Then we were off to Maryland.
Maryland is the Bay State. No, that's Massachusetts. Maryland is the "Old Line State", but it should have been the Bay State. It lives and breathes the Chesapeake Bay.
The big thing here is boats.
