There were a couple of farmer's markets we wanted to check on our way from West Virginia to Pennsylvania. None of them was espcially exciting — Honeycrisp apples were already out of season — but we did get a jar of apple butter made from Honeycrisp apples, and a couple pictures of the interesting droopy spruce trees that are common in the region.
These split-rail fences were also pretty common. This one marked a battlefield.
