This is the big musical number in the show. And by big, I mean extravagant. And by extravagant, I mean it's a miracle
nobody got hurt. Just about everybody gets some featured dance time in this one.
Upon meeting Belle, Lumière greets her by kissing her hand, then moving
gradually up her arm until Cogsworth puts a stop to it. I never saw her reaction
(or Mrs. Potts'), so this photo amused me.

Lumière insists that Belle get a proper dinner.

And what is dinner without a little music?
|
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining!
|
Try the grey stuff — it's delicious!

Those good old days are gone |
Ten years we've been rusting,

Needing so much more than dusting

Babette cuts off Lumière's flirtatious crooning

and takes him for a tango.

And now, for your continued dining pleasure...Napkins, s'il vous plait!

The grand finale begins

While the candlelight's still glowing

Let us help you, we'll keeping going.
