Kennett Square

We stayed in Kennett Square for four nights, the longest of any place on our trip. It is convenient to a number of area attractions, but is well outside of urban Philadelphia. Our B&B of choice was Kennett House.

Here's how it looks at night.

In our room.

One major reason for choosing Kennett House: the wood trim is American Chestnut, which we had not seen.

Downtown Kennett Square has a lot of antiques shops and art shops. And a diner with a chicken out front.

Roy lent his scarf to the chicken, and engaged it in conversation. They didn't agree about everything, but they parted as friends.
