Final glimpses
By now, you're probably as tired of Longwood pages as we were of walking through it. It is vast. We finished our day by walking through the Idea Garden and down to a secluded pond, where the carillon (chimes tower) is. There is also a waterfall, entirely fed by pumps.

This carved pumpkin was in the Idea Garden.

This pile of gourds was actually one of the first things we saw. Behind it is DuPont's house.

The carillon by the pond.

A couple views of the waterfall.

We relax by the pond before heading out.
