Now most have reached the tops of their (stacked) cages.
Sungold is ripening a few at a time.
Champion continues to fatten its fruits.
Golden Queen USDA is surprisingly unruly. Not quite as bad as Sungold,
but you can see how it reaches out in every direction, in addition to
completely packing its cage full of plant.
The birds began attacking early this year, so the bird excluder device went up
early, as well.
So far, harvest has been pretty limited, but more than we usually get before May.
We've gotten two Green Grapes, maybe a dozen Sungolds, two Champions and a Gregori's
Altai. This year, I'm picking them before they're dead ripe
